Office Coffee Systems Provide a Gathering Spot for Workers in the Morning

For many people, few things are more important than that first cup of coffee in the morning. And while many people simply want a strong, black cup of coffee, there are also a number of people who prefer a particular kind of specialty coffee blend. Some are so special, in fact, that the ordering is pretty long and laborious. Finding the right kind of coffees to have on hand at your office may seem like a luxury that you do not want to explore, but the amount of time that employees can save by not going off site for campus can make that seemingly luxurious decision be a smart one.

From a single cup coffee machine for the office of just a few people to a large coffee system for a big office, the coffee decisions that you make can provide a great start to any day, as well as a pick me up in the middle of the day. Office coffee providers vary in the services that they offer and the prices that they charge, but there are a number of businesses that are outsourcing the coffee spaces in their offices. From an unmanned self service bar to a coffee cart that is open for several hours every morning, there are many ways to make sure that your employees get the caffeine that they need to be the most productive.

How Many Cups of Coffee Do You Drink in a Day?

Whether you are a fan of expensive specialty coffees or you take your Cup of Joe black, many people like to start their day with caffeine. Although many people have their first cup of the day at home, it is important to make sure that you are able to get the rest of the caffeine that you need. Consider these facts and figures about American’s obsession with coffee in all of its forms:

  • Moderate consumption of coffee can reduce the risk of developing colorectal cancer by as much as 26%.
  • The most productive employees work for 52 minutes and then take a break for 17 minutes, according to the Time-tracking app Desktime.
  • 62% of respondents indicate that they had drunk coffee the previous day, according to the 2017 National Coffee Drinking Trends report.
  • Women who drink four or more cups of coffee per day were 20% less likely to suffer from depression, according to a study conducted by the Harvard School of Public Health.
  • 46% of U.S. workers indicate that coffee helps them stay productive at work.
  • The average U.S. coffee drinker consumes 3.1 cups per day, and 54% of Americans over the age of 18 drink coffee every day.

Specialty coffee drinks are all the rage in many circles, but even if you only like your coffee black it is important to make sure that you start your day the right way. Employers who make the decision to serve coffee at their office have several options, but it is often in your best interest if you work with a coffee service to make sure that you always have the supplies that you need to satisfy all of your workers.

Francis Pitt has made a name for himself in farm-to-table organics, working at restaurants in Portland, Seattle and Burlington, Vermont. While he has a taste for the extreme, most of his restaurant’s top sellers are much more down-to-earth, regularly featuring mushrooms gathered from the slopes of the Cascades, and fresh wild-caught seafood from the Oregon coast. Inspired by trends in Portland, his latest restaurant offers the ultimate chef’s table: dinner begins in the morning at his island collective farm, and 4 lucky guests every week get to follow the food, literally, from the field to the plate! Francis is a firm believer that you are what you eat — do you really want to be a chemistry set?
